Science for families: mini explorations

Using Primary Connections examples and designed for parents and carers to implement at home, Science for families is a collection of educational activities.

 Each four-page resource features:

  • A short description
  • Notes guiding preparation and resourcing
  • Suggested questions to support student inquiry
  • Student task sheets (may be printed, photographed or photocopied and sent to teachers upon completion)
  • Ideas to explore further

Ideally, Science for families should be implemented with teacher guidance so that timing, context, curriculum, and assessment can be accounted for.
